Why am I showing you my receipt?

I went to Sam's the other day and bought some stuff, I had to wait in line for about 10 minutes to get it because only 6 registers were open,  so I gave her my check she gave me my receipt for what is now my merchandise, along with my merchandise.

( Don't miss that point, ownership has now been transferred they no longer have any legal interest in that merchandise )

At the door I was made to wait in another line against my will and asked to present my receipt and allow this lady to rummage through my personnel property.  Keep in mind that stuff no longer belongs to Sam's club it is all mine now.

How in the heck do you shop lift something from Sam's in the first place, how do you sneak out a 20 lb can of pork and beans, or a 300 lb bag of dog food, or a 12 gallon box of cereal?

I just had to empty all the contents of the cart out and have them scanned I then paid for them all.  They are mine and I don't want to wait at the door and show my stuff to the magic marker lady.  I don't want her to magic marker swipe on my receipt I want my receipt clear.

I have had the guy at Wal-Mart stare at me as I check out then let the kids carrying stuff in their hands walk right by him stop me to look in my buggy and at my receipt that he just saw the cashier give me!!!!

It is because he doesn't want to confront the kids that could actually be stealing it is because it is easier for him to harass the ( nice guys/girls ).  Well no more from me.  It is my stuff and I'm leaving.   It is bad enough to have to nearly beg to have them open a register to even take my money for their crap, and wait in line, from now on when the crap has been legally transfered to me, I'm leaving.

I can’t take anymore disrespect for conservative values, and unless the Republican Party wakes up and gets it’s head on straight real soon, I will be taking my vote, my time, energy, money, and passion from the GOP and taking it to the Libertarian Party to send a message to the Republican leadership that I will not be taken for granted. I believe that it is solid conservatism that wins the day and elections - limited government, individual responsibility, and a strong national DEFENSE (secure the borders!), and certainly not conciliation and surrender to Democrats to the point that our differences become blurry.

McCain is the reason I'm leaving the Republican Party - I can't support a candidate who supports "Cap and Trade" - who calls for a "League of Democracies" that sounds terrifyingly similar to the "League of Nations" almost 100 years ago - who only had a "C" grade from the NRA the last time he ran for the Senate - who not only supported Amnesty for Illegals, but was a co-author of the legislation - who admits Washington has corrupted him(google keating 5)

The differences between McCain and Obama are minimal, when you consider that both believe big government can save you from yourself, and that we can save other nations from themselves as well. I will not play along with the game of lesser of two evils, as I believe that is part of what has plunged this nation into the mess we find ourselves today.

The Libertarian Party seems to be a perfect temporary home, the GOP has its work cut out if its sincere about winning me back, even President Reagan said “Libertarianism is the very heart and soul of conservatism.” I will be doing everything I can to sway like minded conservatives to join me in this exodus and vote for Bob Barr for President and Wayne Root for Vice President on the Libertarian ticket. Both of them were recently Republicans, and are among those countless conservatives I‘ve heard myself say “ It wasn’t that I left the Republican Party, it was the Party that left me.”
